Challenge

Our customer in the field of mobile hydraulics required components with extremely high standards for precision and cleanliness. A particularly critical aspect was that absolutely no burrs were tolerated. In addition, tight tolerances and precise control edges had to be maintained to ensure the functionality and durability of the components. The complex process chain - including turning, hardening, grinding, honing and deburring – made high demands on process reliability and repeatability.

Solution

mesa parts took on the complete development and implementation of the complex process chain. With our broad expertise, we carried out all manufacturing steps—from turning and hardening to grinding, honing and deburring. The hardening process was performed by a long-established external partner who is integrated into the process chain via a milk-run system. Component cleaning was also carried out in-house to ensure maximum cleanliness. This allowed us not only to guarantee tight tolerances and burr-free surfaces but also to meet the highest quality standards for mobile hydraulics components.
